When do I need a building permit?
The Development Permit is the final step in the planning and development process. It is required for a change of use or intensity of use of land or buildings, including new construction. We also issue demolition permits if you decide to remove or demolish a structure.

Kinsmen Park Ice Safety
Now that winter temperatures are upon us and ice is forming on all pools of water, the Town of Strathmore reminds citizens of the dangers of thin ice and to be cautious that ice conditions can change so rapidly in our Town.
Lakewood Meadows Area Structure Plan
The Town of Strathmore has received an Area Structure Plan application for the lands located on a portion of 22-24-25 W4M within the Town of Strathmore. This proposal will provide planning for a low density residential community with a high level of passive recreation and a reshaping of the former Town raw water reservoir for recreation and storm water management use.
